How do you feel about winning/being nominated

for the Spotlight Awards?

We are absolutely blown away. We are so glad we are able to receive this for the second year. The competition was much tougher this year too. But we are so thankful for the support of the pagan community and the Wolf and Witch Family.

How do you feel about your influence within the Pagan/Witchcraft community?

We are just so proud of how our market has grown over the years since we started. The community at Wolf and Witch Markets is what makes it so amazing. All of our traders and customers we are forever grateful for your support. We love that we are able to run a safe and inclusive event for pagans in the north east UK that show cases all the amazing pagan crafters and traders. .

A little bit about yourself?

The Wolf and Witch team is made up of Jane Burns and Claire Keen who started running wolf and witch markets over 3 years ago now. We are also supported by our amazing friends and family who help us to run the events now they have grown. So we would like to give them a massive thank you as we couldn't do it with our them. Jane runs a resin crafts stall called Snow Wolves Art Den and Claire runs a Witch Crafts stall called Hedge Witchery UK that's where our name came from - Wolf and Witch. We created the market as we saw a gap in alternative pagan markets in Middlesbrough. The closest one was in Newcastle and that was a bit too far for many to travel to. So we decided to make our own. Our first Market was only 24 stalls now we have had up to 100.

Any upcoming events, news, or anything else to look out for?

Our next event is the 28th June as part of our PRIDE celebrations but we also have events planned on August 6th and October the 29th this year.
